Current Drugstore Favorites

I was tagged on Instagram to show some of my favorite drugstore beauty products. I thought I can do a short blog post about that, too.

Here are the products I chose:

Balea Lip Balms
I really like the Balea lip balms, they are cheap and pretty good and what I like the most is that they always come up with new fun flavors like the new Sweet Lady which taste like apples and cinnamon and as I love christmas related things I had to get this one.

Catrice Lip Smoother
I absolutely love the Catrice Lip Smoother, they are a dupe for the Clarins Lip Perfectors, way cheaper but for me the same quality. 

Alverde Browgel
Pretty quick way to give my eyebrows a clean and a bit darker look what I need as my eyebrows are very light.

L'Oréal Super Liner
I can create the best winged eyeliner with this liner. But I am always looking for a better one (from a cruelty free brand would be fabulous, can anyone recommend something?).

Essence Lash Princess
The first Essence mascara I really love! I like the look of my lashes and especially the long lasting effect it has.

Catrice Nude Illusion
Before this one I had another Catrice foundation which I liked to. I only wanted to try something new. I would say I like the Catrice foundations in general.

Balea med Deodorant
I have this always with me in my bag.

Alverde translucent Powder
I like to fix my concealer with that powder and I don't want to miss it.

Rival de Loop décolleté cream
I just like the fact that I have something especially for the décolleté skin. 

Catrice Eyeshadows
I like the skin tone eyeshadows for blending, but the Catrice eyeshadows are pretty good in general.

Catrice Luminizing Bronzer
Got this one this summer and fell immediately in love with this bronzer. I use it still every day.

Manicure Routine

Each Sunday I am opening my personal home-spa and I do my manicure routine. 

Here is what I use for a quick manicure.

Sometimes when I have more time I do a peeling and a hand bath before I start shortening my nails.

Nail Polish Color 

Fast Dry Top Coat

Recently I discovered the nail primer by p2. I am not 100% sure but it feels like it makes my nail polish really last longer. Nail hardener as a base coat is a must for me as well before I use color. And as I am a bit impatient I have to use a fast dry top coat. This one is from L'Oreal but I like as well the one from Sally Hansen (in a red bottle).

Manicure Monday

From the current Catrice limited edition Metallure I bought the nail polish in C03 Metalight. I never got essie's Penny Talk but as I read about this Catrice polish should be dupe to Penny Talk I had to buy it! 

I can't compare it to Penny Talk but I can definitely say that I like the color!

Müller Look-Box July 2014

This month I was one of the lucky winners of a Müller Look-Box - Yaaaaay!!!

You get a beauty box for 5€ at your local Müller drugstore when you win. Unfortunately, not everyone can get a box which is really a pity because the box is really amazing!!!

I am really impressed with that box! Okay, I am not really into purple eyeshadow, but look what I've got for 5€! That is crazy! I love the Bronzer, Mascara is always a good idea, 2 perfumes (and I like how they smell) and a normal sized essie nail polish in a super fun summery color!

Amazing! I definitely going to try to get one of the following boxes, too! 

What's in my travel make-up bag?

In the beginning of the week I was due to working reasons in Munich for two days. As I had only hand baggage with me I could only take few cosmetic products with me. 

Here is what I had with me and used for my daily make-up.

• Bobbi Brown Face Powder
• BeYu Eyelid Primer
• Maybelline Baby Lips
• Manhatten Glowing Goddess Shimmer Powder (which I love BTW) which I not only use for my cheeks I like to use it as well like eyeshadow, that's super handy on a quick daily basis and gives you a fresh glowy look
• Alverde Browgel
• Benefit they're real Mascara (sample size)
• Catrice Eyeliner in light blue
• Catrice Eyeshadow in a light creamy color
• MAC Concealer (can't live without)
• Alverde transparent lose powder which I like to use over my concealer
• MAC Rouge The perfect Cheek
• Clarins Lip Perfector

I had as well the Catrice BB Cream with me, which isn't on that pic because it was in another small bag with my other beauty and cleansing products.
