Pedicure Routine

Last week I did a manicure routine so I thought it would be fun to do a pedicure routine, too.

First I am doing a foot bath which I love because it is so relaxing.

Newly, I am using this fancy anti hard skin thing I bought at Rossmann. It is working pretty good but I don't have a huge problem with that so I can't say how good this thing is with really hard skin, but I like using it and my skin is feeling pretty soft afterwards.

I am using different nail files, cuticle softener and clipper, a nail polish remover pen can become pretty handy, too.

During summer time I am doing most of the time a french pedicure. These are the nail polishes I use for that:
Nail Primer
Nail Hardener or any other base coat
White polish for the tips (I use only the brush for doing the tips, nothing else)
Essie Mademoiselle (2 coats)
Fast Dry Top Coat

After everything is dry I use a foot cream and put fancy socks on :) These piggy ones are from Forever 21.

DIY: Chanel tray

I did another DIY project the other day and so far it seems like this is one of my favorites :)

I used an old tray, painted it several times white. After that I drew the Chanel sign on it and filled it in with black paint.

That is the result! I love it! And my friends, too, which means that I have already several orders and I need to "produce" some more.

Manicure Routine

Each Sunday I am opening my personal home-spa and I do my manicure routine.

Here is what I use for a quick manicure.

different nail files
cuticle softener pen
clipper
hand cream

Sometimes when I have more time I do a peeling and a hand bath before I start shortening my nails.

Nail Primer
Nail Hardener
Nail Polish Color
Fast Dry Top Coat

Recently I discovered the nail primer by p2. I am not 100% sure but it feels like it makes my nail polish really last longer. Nail hardener as a base coat is a must for me as well before I use color. And as I am a bit impatient I have to use a fast dry top coat. This one is from L'Oreal but I like as well the one from Sally Hansen (in a red bottle).

Urban Decay Naked 3

I was super excited after finding out that Douglas is selling Urban Decay products in Germany now. First day of their availability I immediately ordered the Naked 3 pallet.

I've got the delivery the next day after I placed the order, more than super duper fast. Thanks to Douglas!

I love this palette. For everyone who likes neutral colors which are more pinkish this the right eye-shadow palette.

Home sweet Home - DIY

Sometimes I feel like I have to do something super creative. Most of the time I don't have much time to be that creative. But in my past vacation I took the time and I created some really fun things. For example this lovely HOME picture.

I bought a canvas and first I applied white paint all over it. The most difficult part was to draw the lines and to make sure everything is symmetric.

Then I filled the lines in with black paint.

I bought a HOME lettering made of cardboard from Depot (it was on Sale yay!) and applied golden paint and on the wet paint some golden glitter.

I glued the lettering on the canvas and... done!

I love it <3

Manicure Monday

From the current Catrice limited edition Metallure I bought the nail polish in C03 Metalight. I never got essie's Penny Talk but as I read about this Catrice polish should be dupe to Penny Talk I had to buy it!

I can't compare it to Penny Talk but I can definitely say that I like the color!

Breakfast impressions and Sunday thoughts again

Two weeks of fabulous, relaxed, creative and fun vacation time are ending tomorrow. I have to say that I am not really happy about the holiday being over. But complaining doesn't make sense. Instead I am browsing through the breakfast pics I made the past days so that I can look forward to the next holiday.

The easiest and fastest but of course super delicious breakfast for me is some fruits (strawberries, blueberries, apples what ever I have at home) with yogurt and granola, almonds, sometimes I put chocolate on top, or coconut flakes or dried cranberries or...

... small cookies :)

I like to make smoothies in the morning, too. Here I had a banana-coconutmilk one.

Pancakes with Nutella, who can say no to pancakes?!

This was more kind of a brunch with scrambled eggs and avocado.

Nutella breakfast on my last vacation day (today) to make it a bit healthy I had a melon with soy yogurt.

Sometimes I think about getting up during the week super early to make a delicious breakfast each day before work. But each morning when the alarm goes I feel super tired, I use the snooze button for about 30 minutes, and I am not able to do anything besides getting a strong coffee, make sure I have something on which isn't my pajamas and jump on my bike to drive to work. I guess I am not a morning person when I have to be one.
However, I hope tomorrow won't be too stressful. We will see...
